“Bangladesh” synopsis

In Armenia perhaps the greatest heritage left from Soviet Union is the modern architecture. Bangladesh is one of such areas built in 80ies and resembles a small town not because it is very big but with the symmetry of its identical tall buildings.” the citizens" themself have given this sarcastic name to their "city", the hottest and the farthest distric of Yerevan. As the camera follows the architectural structure of the buildings you can feel the ghostly presence of modernism. Modernism is a ghost because it is never fully realized in Armenia, and people live next to this architecture trying not to notice its presence.
